It's that time of the year again wonderful parents and guardians of CDE students! CDE students will be taking their IMSSA testing starting Tuesday August 19, 2025, Wednesday August 20, and Thurdsday August 21st. Please have your students well rested and on time. Thank you all. It has been a busy summer for GMCS/SFE food service!
We distributed 30,000 meals in the form of 5-day meal kits to many children in the community.

We prepared hot meals onsite at 5 Gallup area parks using our hot dog carts! We served burgers, BBQ, and other kid-approved meals to our community kids!

Plus, we offered hot meals at all 33 GMCS school sites for all children during July. At SFE, feeding kids is our favorite summer activity!

Chee Dodge summer school invited Ms. Luna from New Mexico State University Ideas for Cooking and Nutrition on July 10th. Students were exposed on how working as a nutritionist can be exciting and learn new ways to make healthy meals or snacks. Students collaborated with other grade levels.

Chee Dodge Elementary held their 1st Talent Show on Wednesday. We had a great turn out! Students showed off their awesome talents with their singing, rapping, dances, dad jokes, and experiments.

Here are the schedules for iMSSA End of Year testing for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Please have your student(s) on time for testing. There will be no checkouts during testing. Thank you and we appreciate everything to support our school, students, and staff.

Next week is spirit week! Also, iMSSA EOY testing will be held on Tuesday 5/6, Wednesday 5/7, and Thursday 5/8. Schedule for testing is in progress and will be posted soon.

Yay! The countdown until the last day of school begins. Here is a calendar for students and staff to participate in the ABC countdown. We do have Spirit week as well next week so students and staff can do either one of them.
